As I mentioned a couple of times (just a couple..), Zoe is by now completely in charge of the house and the surroundings. She strolls in the garden, jumping from a fence to a roof, with the same expression as Catherine of Russia in the Winter Palace...
You want proof? Here it comes:
(The wheel is NOT some kind of prehistoric sun-worship altar, but a soon-to-be herb corner. For the moment it hosts a lonely snail-eaten basil plant)
And yes, it's sunny! Dutch summer is fresh - 24 degrees is the best option you can get - and very very variable. This is what I have to get used to: not being able to take the sun for granted. It is absolutely not sure that tomorrow will be sunny as well (or that it will still be sunny in two hours, for that matter).
But no, I am not complaining! When the sun does shine, it is really beautiful... I will post some pictures of the skies here and y'all will know what I am talking about :)
Back to the felines, though:
...but who is this one?
No, I have not dyed Zoe black, she remains happily tri-colored. This, as the title of my post says, is the guest. He officially lives one block from here but as you can see he finds my armchair very very comfy.
He is young, and so non-aggressive that even our "resident evil", after a few perplexed attempts, stopped trying to kill him. We see him on average every two days: he comes, he eats, he purrs, he jumps on every available lap, and sometimes he crashes somewhere and sleeps.
He has not moved in - his humans have no intention whatsoever of allowing him to, and I guess he is having way too much fun being two-homed. For the moment we are some kind of feline bed&breakfast. A McDonalds with relax corner :)
